Review: Let me start by saying that I am a fan of Alfred Hitchcock. This film, in my opinion, the best job ever. But I think a lot of Hitchcock should his success with his longtime partner, Bernard Herrmann, who scored the music for many of his films, which include this. Anthony Perkins Norman Bates Footwear filled perfectly. She does not overplay, and it does not serve as pale. Janet Leigh was not the best person to show Marion, but he played the part quite adequetly. However, I loved Vera Miles best in this film. Hitchcock had her in mind for the role after she was off to work on his latest film vèrtij. It was probably a key role here, as it was one of those who opened Norman terrible secret. Tony Award-winning actor Martin Basalm was terrific in his brief appearance as a private detective, trying to keep track Marion down. John Gavin was OK, but nothing to boast about. Hitchcock made a decision that is wise in his movie in black and white, to make history when he asked no one to leave the theater after the film began in gold, does not cause confusion. This is the most brilliant film I've ever seen, and I give it 5 stars (out of 5).
