Review: Thor was much better than I expected. I did not know if they could withdraw from the balance between the Norse mythology stuff and the real world of the Marvel Universe. I shouldve known better because Marvel knows their characters and know what you want to see. Spider-Man set a new standard for the genre of superhero movie back in the day. Iron Man upped the ante. Thor takes the ball and runs with it and places that bar even higher. Can not wait to see him and know he will be well enough for a decent sequel, because word of mouth is great. Believe me when I say Thor really is as good as Iron Man, and worthy to be called one of the greatest devices ever.Chris Hemsworth as the Norse god Thor and Tom Hiddleston as his evil brother Loki show they are acting ability and star quality to become mega marquee names in the future. Marvel found two absolute diamonds in the rough. Both actors do a great experience and very good on the screen. Know Acedemy winners Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman Prize will bring, but more on these unkowns maintains its own screen. You know that the script is written mostly for them, but I've been in a big way. From what I've read, Hemsworth and Hiddleston were cast for almost a year on the eve of filming the story so they had time to get in shape and do a character study. Yes they do these long great pride Marvel. Intelligent comic popcorn epics are rare and this is definitely a cut above the normal rate.
