Review: High school went wrong Carrie (Sissy Spacek) unleashes the fury of her telekinetic executioners. This is a huge success in 1976, and scared me silly. I'm not afraid of now (except for the final sequence), but I still think that a good solid horror film handles well Brian De Palma. Moving fast, there are some beautiful images (all shot in soft focus in muted colors), and almost the same performance. The only way out of a bad John Travolta plays a deep hood. Amy Irving (as a student who befriends Carrie), William Katt (Afro is very 70s), Nancy Allen (plays real bitch), Betty Buckley (young, he was full of energy) and PJ Soles (silly but bearable) and perfect. But coupled with excellent Spacek, Piper Laurie, which is very scary and wonderful as crazy religious mother. Szinténa film (by today's standards) very dim szempontjábóla blood andthe Gore. And the final sequence will jump (while also noticed that the car behind it - they move back) One complaint - I really hated Mrs. Palma How many high school kids - feel like hes working some personal issues here. I really do not need the slow-mo shower sequence in the beginning? Apart from that - it's a good movie. See the box on the letter.
