Review: Before there was Mike Meyers, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey - of course - it was the late great Danny Kaye. In The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Mr. Kaye gives a brilliant performance as hysterical and very imaginative Walter Mitty, who escapes her real life, and think like a new person, a designer hat, professional player, a war hero , surgeon, etc. However, his imagination is no longer fiction when a real life event and adventure die rolls into the boring but simple life Mitty.Anyhow Walter, I was really surprised by this film. I thought it would be boring, because in 1947, 34 years before I was born, but I am really impressed with this movie. In fact, I thought it was much funnier than any comedy they have these days. Danny Kaye really put a smile on your face in this movie. Some would love to see this movie! This is a true classic! : O)
